As you may know, on June 30, 2020 we announced our allocation of two percent of our cash holdings - initially up to $100 million - into financial institutions and organizations that directly support Black communities in the U.S. Since the announcement we have received lots of question about how we did it, how it’ll work, who we are partnering with, how we will track impact and how other companies might get involved. We thought it would be meaningful to host a session along with our partners, HOPE Credit Union and LISC, to give more insight and help others similarly build economic opportunity where it is needed most.
Please RSVP and share with folks in your network who are seeking more information. Please take a look at this summary of the steps we took to get to the solution we announced and submit any additional questions you have when registering so that we can try to address them during the session. Our panelist for the session are:
Shannon Alwyn, Director, Treasury - Netflix
Bill Bynum, Chief Executive Officer - HOPE Credit Union
Maurice Jones, Chief Executive Officer - LISC | Local Initiatives Support Corporation
Aaron Mitchell (moderator), Director of Talent Acquisition - Netflix
We look forward to speaking with you.
